My dad was a real avid amateur photographer but I never really got into it until I was already in college.  Later, when my daughter Melissa was born things changed dramatically and I took pictures left and right using a Nikon F2 and FM-2.  With the advent of digital photography and my hobby of computers all hell finally broke loose.

My first Digital Camera was a Kodak DC280 which I still use at work.  This 2 Megapixel Camera has been taking a lot of pictures and is still going strong.  Three years ago I upgraded to a Canon PowerShot G2, a 4 Megapixel camera which has served me faithfully on all my latest trips and family events.  Just recently, as Melissa is taking a photography class at the university I purchased a Nikon D80 Digital SLR.  I have actually not used it yet (still reading the manual) but the pictures Melissa is taking look very promising.
