| On Friday, June 29 Melissa and I flew to Germany.
We arrived on Saturday and spend the day with family before taking a
rental car to Southern France where we spent two weeks. We
returned to Germany on July 15 and spent the next six days visiting
family and friends in Germany and making arrangements for Melissa's
one-year stay in Germany at Marburg and Mainz University.
In France we took trips to Grimaud, Saint
Maxime, Lyon, Nice, Cavalier and Saint Tropez. All these trips
filled us with excitement and wonder as the Cote D'Azur is such a
beautiful place. Temperatures were great, always in the 80's
with no humidity. Lyon is not on the coast and we went there
to attend a Genesis concert.
