On day 5 of our stay in
France we visited the small village of Grimaud. The village is
located on a small mountain between Cavalaire and Saint Tropez.
This was a very quaint and beautiful village with small streets
and really typical of the small villages you find in Southern
France. The village had an old fortress and beautiful flora.
Grimaud also has a harbor which is a few miles away. Once
again it was really beautiful and I found found Grimaud much more
exciting than Saint Tropez which was overrun with tourists.
We probably should have spent more time there and eaten lunch in
one of many quaint outside restaurants but we chose to wait and eat
at the harbor. |
